The FontSite Type Library has been re-built from the ground up in OpenType CFF format. The benefits of OpenType are numerous — 100% cross-platform compatibility (the OpenType format supports all current operating systems from Microsoft and Apple as well as legacy systems such as Windows 95 and Mac OS 9), greatly expanded character sets and language support, class-based kerning and advanced typographic features such as small caps, ligatures, swash variants, ornaments, oldstyle numerals, arbitrary fractions and much more. These new OpenType fonts were carefully crafted using the latest technology and tools. Using these fonts you will also notice improved text appearance on-screen as well as in print.
