This is my second BMW, a 1996 R1100-RSL. I used to ride a K75-S, but I totalled it and decided to make the leap to a big thumping twin. It’s a much different beast than the 750 — a lot more torque and a lot more power, most of it at the low-end of the rev meter, too. And the throttle response is phenomenal, especially in third gear, which makes this bike really, really fun to ride on twisty-turny roads. Like, knee-draggin’ fun.
